This morning I woke up with puffy hands. I guess it's normal because I've heard of lots of people who couldn't wear their wedding rings during their pregnancies. I finally got my rings OFF and told Ryan I was going to go buy a cheap band somewhere so I didn't look like such a hoochie (big belly, no rings). Ryan said "I have a ring you can wear" and pulled a sterling band out of a box in one of his drawers. He said he had bought it when he knew he wanted to marry me so he could propose whenever the right moment came up. He ended up getting a family diamond for my ring, so gave me that instead when we got engaged. The sterling band was a quarter size bigger than my wedding ring and engagement ring and fit perfectly! It needs to be polished and it's simpler than my normal rings, but I think it's beautiful!
A side note, keep an eye on TS Chris. He is the little storm that could and continues to strengthen despite expectation (and logic) and might make it into the Gulf.
